A Deck That Holds Up Through Wisconsin Winters
We build, repair and refinish decks for homeowners across Milwaukee and the surrounding suburbs.
A quick look at the deck work we handle most, from new builds to fixing what's already there.
A new deck built from the footings up, sized right for your yard.
Soft boards, loose railings, and squeaky steps fixed fast.
Protect the wood before winter does more damage.
Multi-level layouts, built-in seating, whatever fits your lot.
Code-compliant railings that don't wobble when you lean on them.
Low-maintenance boards that never need staining again.
We build and repair decks for homeowners in Milwaukee and the towns around it. If you're reading this, there's a good chance a board is soft underfoot, a railing has some give in it, or the deck just doesn't look like it did five summers ago. Wisconsin winters are hard on wood and hard on the fasteners holding it together. We see the same failures over and over: ledger boards pulling away from the house, footings that never sat below the frost line to begin with.
We tie every ledger board into the house with proper flashing, so water runs off instead of soaking into your siding. Footings go down below Milwaukee's frost line, not a shovel's depth, so the deck doesn't heave every spring. We use joist hangers rated for exterior use and space the decking boards to allow for wood movement in the humidity swings we get here. None of that shows up in a photo, but it's the difference between a deck that lasts eight years and one that lasts twenty five.
Based in Milwaukee, working throughout the surrounding suburbs.
Not on the list? Give us a call anyway. We are often working nearby.
Most of our work comes from someone telling a neighbor about us. Here is why that keeps happening.
We carry full insurance, so you're covered if anything goes wrong on the job.
We pull the building permit and handle the inspection, you don't have to.
We haul off every scrap of old decking and every bent nail before we leave.
You get a written quote with material and labor broken out, no guessing.
We give you a start date and a finish date, and we call if the weather moves either.
Pressure-treated, cedar or composite, we'll tell you the tradeoffs for your budget.
Had a board give out on the back steps in Wauwatosa and they came out within a few days. Turned out the stringer was rotted underneath, glad they checked before just patching the board.
They pushed the stain date back a week because of rain, kind of annoying but I'd rather it dry right. Deck out in Franklin looks great going into fall.
Went with composite after the old pressure-treated boards kept splintering. Milwaukee crew got it done in three days, hidden fasteners look clean.

Answers to what most people ask before they call.
Fill out the form below or call us. Either way, we'll ask about the size of the deck, what it's attached to, and what's not working with the current one if there is one.
Thanks for reaching out. We'll contact you shortly to discuss your project.
